Manager, Commercial Business Development USA - Job Description

Countercraft is seeking a proven, quota-carrying sales professional who is passionate about selling security products to join the Commercial Sales team in the USA as a Manager, Commercial Business Development. This position will be responsible for the full sales process from developing leads to closing deals. Leverage existing relationships and create new ones to achieve or exceed assigned quota.


The successful candidate will be strongly self-motivated and outcome-driven with a proven track record of managing and closing a pipeline of opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Expand Commercials Sales by selling all offerings to new accounts to consistently achieve/exceed assigned quota
  • Establish relationships and lead meetings with key influencers and decision makers
  • Coordinate and support product demonstrations working closely with Sales Engineer/s
  • Navigate and drive the evaluation process and full sales cycle through to a closed deal
  • Provide support to customers during the full sales process, ensuring alignment between business challenges and solutions
  • Be engaged in the customer’s journey beyond the close of the sale, ensuring a smooth transition for customers to the Customer Success team
  • Attend trade shows and other networking events (COVID permitting)
  • Collaboratively work with the Marketing Team to support public and virtual engagements.

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS


  • Extensive enterprise software sales experience - selling security software.
  • C-Level relationship management and new business sales experience.
  • A proven track record of consistent achievement against quota.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of cyber security industry experience in business development or sales at a high-tech company.
  • Extensive contacts within the commercial sector: Threat Intel teams, CISOs, CSOs.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to apply technology to solve business problems.
  • Understanding of relevant market trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent and proven presentation and consultative skills.
  • Negotiator - can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships.
  • Ability to drive influence and build effective relationships with decision makers across all levels of organizations.

  • Exceptional communication skills including listening, writing and public speaking.
  • Can work in a fast paced, start-up environment.

Salary Range: Variable depending on experience
