Job Brief

The Deception Project Manager will serve as CounterCraft’s representative for CounterCraft’s deception platforms and personnel.


This Project Manager will manage contract specifications, deliverables, product requirements, service hours, and contract personnel (if needed).  The Project Manager will serve as the liaison with the COTR/contracting officer, customer, and CounterCraft Security, Inc. (USA).


The Project Manager is responsible for project success and customer satisfaction. They will manage delivery schedules, support, new product requirements, and technical inquiries.


  • Set the deception program strategy, vision, and tactical direction for cross-functional teams and sub-contractors.

  • Accomplish program objectives for product deployment to meet customers’ operational needs.

  • Design and execute a plan of action to meet the customers’ requirements.

  • Manage the program’s risks and opportunities.

  • Full accountability for their program’s cost and schedule performance.

  • Build strong internal networks and relationships with multiple customer programs and functions.

  • Deliver customers’ feedback as requirements to be evaluated for product roadmap.

  • Manage CounterCraft personnel on-site.

  • Manage integration with customer teams.

  • Use performance reviews with CounterCraft personnel to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Collect metrics and information to report on the efficacy of the product to customer leadership.

  • Manage performance tracking and reporting activities, to include manpower planning and program financials.

  • Support and lead deception strategy meetings with various customer groups.

  • Serve as the liaison between the COTR, Customers, and CounterCraft.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Finance or similar discipline or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience

  • 5 years’ experience in Program Management, Product Management, Business Development, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or Engineering environment

  • Experience in leading teams, projects, and/or programs (i.e. Finance, Engineering, Operations)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Existing Program Management Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire (preferably level 4)

  • Experience in government contracting management

  • Strong knowledge in cyber security product delivery

  • Expertise in in scoping efforts, contracts, scheduling, delivery, and product

  • Experience in multiple layers within the security stack or threat intelligence

  • Experience supporting the DOD industry and Government Acquisition Regulations

Salary Range: Variable depending on experience and performance bonus.
