Do you possess a unique set of skills that blend technical knowledge with product management expertise? Do you have an interest in maps & data visualization? Join us at MapTiler as SDK's Team leader & Product owner with the opportunity to continue the development of our SDKs and weather visualization library, powered by WebGL, TypeScript, and GLSL. While you might not need to be a coding expert, you should have a solid understanding of the programming languages, platforms, and frameworks the SDK supports.


You may have already used MapTiler to check the weather forecast, purchase train or plane tickets, or book a room for your last vacation. We even help during humanitarian crises. Our maps are part of apps and websites produced by companies and freelance developers from all over the world. More than 350 million people use MapTiler maps in their daily lives every month. What you will do

• Team leader & product owner for MapTiler SDKs.

• Documentation and reporting.

• Conducting market analysis.

• Continuous Improvement of SDK products.

• Product vision and roadmap quality.

• Quality assurance.

• Backlog management.


What we expect from you

• 5+ years of experience in a field of product owning and leadership.

• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web browsers.

• Understanding the needs and pain points of the developers who will be using the SDK.

• Strong communication skills.

• Being able to analyze problems, propose solutions, and make decisions under pressure.

• Understanding quality assurance processes and techniques.

• Being adaptable and open to change.

• Identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Utilizing analytics tools to track SDK usage, gather feedback, and make data-driven decisions with our Data analyst.

• Strong experience in team-leadership.

• Precision, consistency, and being organized in your work.

• A team player who collaborates on a common outcome.

• A strong drive for self-improvement, learning, and sharing knowledge.


Nice to have

• Basic comprehension of WebGL (or WebGPU) concepts.

• Familiarity with mobile application development for Android/iOS.

• Orientation in the market trends in online map visualization.

• Previous experience in GIS and/or development.

• Interest in maps.
