Mogo Eastern Europe is doing business in 5 countries (Romania, Moldova, Belarus, Bulgaria and North Macedonia). Our IT Team is located in Riga. The team is autonomous and ensure all IT competences, from IT Operations and infrastructure maintenance to own financial system development and support.

The Mission for IT Project Manager is: to have good relationship with business representatives acting as product owners in order to collect, analyze and prepare requirements for IT system development; own and control software delivery plan and backlog; manage workload for the team and oversee SDLC from requirements delivery to handover into operations; ensure customer satisfaction; participate in system support and defect fixing.

The Outcomes

  • Requirements collected, analyzed, organized in backlog and prepared for delivery
  • Delivery Iterations are organized according to priorities
  • Project plans (schedule, scope, team & capacity) is managed
  • Team deliver iterations on time and within estimates
  • Delivery Team is satisfied, as all work is organized properly and all impediments/issues delaying delivery are removed
  • Acceptance tests and user training is organized
  • Clients and all stakeholders have transparency and are satisfied with software delivery service
  • All required reporting and internal compliance are fulfilled
  • System support, maintenance and availability is on acceptable level


  • Analytical thinking with ability to think through and propose effective solutions, as well as to make fast risk/benefit assessment to make decisions
  • Good knowledge of Software Delivery Life Cycle and understanding of agile principles
  • Eagerness to work in agile environment
  • Experience in IT Project Management, with emphasis on:

-Requirements Management (define functional requirements and user stories, and further split into tasks)

-Planning skills, to be able to provide WBS and manage task implementation with the team

-Organize deliveries in iterations

  • Knowledge of various Task and Defect management tools (Jira, Asana, Bugzilla, etc..)
  • Experience in Managing Software Delivery Team: Developers, QA, Support
  • At least essential technical skills required: SQL, XML/XSD, WebServices, SOAP
  • Preferably some previous practical experience in testing or business application user support.
  • Loves dynamics and collaboration with requirements owners as well as with delivery team
  • Ability to take charge individually, as well as work collaboratively with a team
  • Knowledge or previous experience in finance, trading or accounting - would be considered as an advantage
  • Proficient English (written and spoken) and good Russian (spoken);
