We need a Chief Marketing Officer to run our marketing operations in Teach Me 2. The ideal candidate will have significant work experience with business in the scaling-up phase of the business cycle.

We’re not interested in someone who has had access to a huge marketing budget at a large multinational, we are rather interested in someone who is used to working with lean budgets and who is looking to create something out of nothing.

As a Chief Marketing Officer at our company, you will:


  • Establish the end-to-end digital marketing capabilities and strategy that aligns with the needs and goals of the business.
  • Lead the implementation and execution of these capabilities, such as media planning and buying, search, conversion rate optimisation and data and analytics to support future business growth.
  • Working alongside Senior Stakeholders, the Data Team, and establish a best of breed approach to the use of marketing technology.
  • Lead the analytics and reporting function in digital campaigns with a focus on optimisation - assistance will be provided by the data and analytics team
  • Develop and lead the implementation of the longer-term data and analytics capability, in consultation with the relevant marketing and business leaders.
  • Establish best practices around the use of data and analytics to inform marketing and campaign effectiveness and lead our overall approach to use of digital marketing agencies (our approach is that most of this should be executed in house)
  • Work with other team members to hit organisational goals and objectives.


Minimum requirements:

  • 5 years experience in a senior digital marketing role
  • Proven track record of managing end to end campaigns including the execution thereof
  • Experience in both start up and scale up environments essential
  • Proven capability to manage people
