Product Owner (CAT)

You will

  • Collaborate with the Product Lead on product backlog / vision refinement according to business value
  • Own a specific area of expertise in Lokalise product - CAT
  • Maintain and manage product backlog for your area of expertise
  • Define user stories and write tech specs 
  • Communicate story detail and priorities and ensures the team aligns and agrees on a final iteration plan
  • Work closely with engineering teams and UX/UI designer to execute on backlog items
  • Design mockups and liaise with UX/UI designer to convert them to high-fidelity wireframes
  • Make sure user stories and tech specs meet the minimum acceptance criteria before they are passed on to engineering team(-s)
  • Review and reprioritize backlog on a regular basis
  • Work closely with engineering team lead to ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Ensure that the product backlog is visible, transparent and clear to all parties involved
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings, daily standups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Evaluating product progress at each iteration
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new   functionalities
  • Closely follow our competitors and the industry 

If you have

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working with localization and/or internationalization projects
  • Previous experience working with TMS and/or CAT software
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team consisting of engineers, designers
