Junior Lawyer

You will

  • Be joining a small and dynamic legal team, reporting to the General Counsel
  • Maintain files and records of all contracts and legal documents through our document management system
  • Help support our HR team by reviewing and negotiating agreements including employment contracts, independent contractors agreements, outsourcing agreements
  • Help support our sales team by reviewing and negotiating agreements including Order Forms, NDAs, MSAs
  • Review and negotiate agreements with vendors
  • Support Lokalise privacy compliance program
  • Manage the privacy inbox and be the first line of response or Data Subject requests
  • Help draft and implement policies and processes

If you have

  • 1-3 years of legal experience
  • J.D. or similar degree from an accredited law school in Latvia
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, employment and commercial contracts under Latvian law
  • Basic knowledge of US/UK legal concepts and the GDPR
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization’s legal department and across all businesses
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to successfully interact with a wide variety of internal clients

Would be a plus if you have

  • LLM from an accredited law school in EU or the USA
  • Law-firm or in-house experience, preferably at a software company
  • Experience in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, commercial contracts and vendor agreements, preferably in the SaaS space
  • Working knowledge and experience with Data Privacy, including GDPR

Compensation

  • EUR 2000 - 3000 gross (depending on the previous experience & fit for position)
