Mogo Eastern Europe is doing business in 5 countries (Romania, Moldova, Belarus, Bulgaria and North Macedonia). Our IT Team is located in Riga. The team is autonomous and ensure all IT competences, from IT Operations and infrastructure maintenance to own financial system development and support.

The Mission for System Analyst is to: Translate business and functional requirements into application solutions; Be the link between business and IT; Analyze existing business processes and systems, elaborate and propose alternatives for different solutions; Specify demands for functional and non-functional requirements; Define user interfaces, including usability viewpoints, business classes and preliminary system architecture; participate in functional and acceptance testing as well as user training; issue and defect analysis.

  • Requirements collected, analyzed and prepared for development
  • Solution alternatives and options are explored, provided, discussed and agreed
  • Acceptance Criteria is defined
  • User Acceptance Testing prepared and user training completed
  • Project Manager as well as Delivery Team are satisfied, with quality of requirements and provided clarifications
  • Clients and all stakeholders are satisfied with proposed solution alternatives and options
  • All required reporting and internal compliance are fulfilled
  • Requirements and other system documentation are prepared and maintained up to date


  • Analytical thinking with ability to think through and propose effective solutions, as well as to make fast risk/benefit assessment to make decisions
  • Understanding of Software Delivery Life Cycle and agile principles
  • Eagerness to work in agile environment
  • Experience in Requirements Management (define functional requirements and user stories, and further split into tasks)
  • Preferably knowledge of main UX principles and experience with wireframe tools
  • At least essential technical skills required: SQL, XML/XSD, WebServices, SOAP
  • Preferably some previous practical experience in testing or business application user support
  • Loves dynamics and collaboration with requirements owners as well as with delivery team
  • Knowledge or previous experience in finance, trading or accounting - would be considered as an advantage
  • Proficient English (written and spoken) and good Russian (spoken and preferably written);
