Who is the Data Controller?


We hereby inform you that your personal data, both those you may provide now and those provided during the different stages of the recruitment process shall be processed, as Data Controller, by COUNTERCRAFT, S.L. (hereinafter, “COUNTERCRAFT”), a company with registered address at Donostia-San Sebastian (Gipuzkoa), 71 Paseo Mikeletegi, 1st Floor, registered with the Mercantile Registrar of Gipuzkoa in Volume 2741, Sheet 38, Page SS-37932, and holder of tax identity number B-75142091.


COUNTERCRAFT has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is in charge of managing and controlling privacy matters in COUNTERCRAFT and whom you can contact at the following email address: [email protected].


How do we collect your personal data?


Data that processed by COUNTERCRAFT are collected at the following sources:


§   Data provided by yourself by submitting your Curriculum Vitae.

§   Derived from the management, maintenance and development of the recruitment process.

§   From publicly accessible sources.


What types of data do we process?


At COUNTERCRAFT we process the following categories of personal data in relation to applicant management:


§   Identification data.

§   Personal characteristics data.

§   Social circumstances data.

§   Academic and professional data.

§   Data on employment details.


For what purposes and under what legal grounds do we process your data?


At COUNTERCRAFT we process your personal data to decide on your eligibility as an applicant in the recruitment processes managed by COUNTERCRAFT and, where appropriate, to manage your participation in the recruitment processes carried out at COUNTERCRAFT.


The processing of your personal data by COUNTERCRAFT, in accordance with the applicable regulations, is based on your consent, which has been requested through this document.


To whom do we communicate your data?


The personal data processed by COUNTERCRAFT will not be communicated to any third party.


Please be informed that your data could be communicated to Data Processors which have processing and / or support centers located outside the European Economic Area, so your data could be subject to transfer to third countries that have not been declared countries with adequate level of protection by the European Commission.


In particular, COUNTERCRAFT uses a technological app named Sage HR (managed by HR Bakery Limited) whose servers are located outside of the EEA or the UK, with the corresponding international data transfers being made based on standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to data processors established in third countries approved by the European Commission.


How long do we keep your personal data?


The personal data contained in your Curriculum Vitae and any other data collected during your participation in a recruitment process will be kept, for the intended purposes, for a maximum period of 6 months from the closing of the recruitment process in which you participate, after which we will proceed to its deletion, guaranteeing total respect for the confidentiality of your data, both in its treatment and in its subsequent deletion.


After the aforementioned period, if you wish to continue participating in the selection processes carried out by COUNTERCRAFT, please send us your Curriculum Vitae again or proceed to update your data when so communicated by COUNTERCRAFT.


What are your rights?


The applicable regulations on data protection grant you a series of rights related to your personal data that you may exercise during the processing thereof. Said rights are those indicated below:


§  Access to your data: you have the right to access your data to find out which of your personal data we are processing.

§ Requesting the rectification or erasure of your data: in certain circumstances, you have the right to request rectification of your inaccurate personal data that we are processing, or even, to request us to delete them when, among other reasons, said data are no longer required for the purposes they were collected for.

§ Requesting the restriction of the processing of your data: in certain circumstances, you have the right to request us that we limit the processing of your data, in which case we inform you that we will only keep said data for exercising or defending a right or claim, as established in the applicable regulations on data protection.

§ Requesting the portability of your personal data: In certain circumstances, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, and that you have provided us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit them to another data controller.

§ Objecting to data processing: in certain circumstances, and for reasons related with your personal situation, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, in which case we would stop processing them except where, for legitimate compelling reasons or for exercising or defending against potential claims, said data must be kept.


You are further entitled to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of any processing based on said consent before its withdrawal.


You may exercise those rights by means of a written request sent to COUNTERCRAFT, to the postal address provided hereinabove, or else by sending an email to the email address [email protected].


Finally, you may file a claim with the relevant Supervisory Authority (in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency), in particular, when you have failed to obtain satisfaction in the exercise of your rights. You may contact said Authority through its web page: www.aepd.es.
