SPORTS TRADER (ST100)

Due to some exciting growth here at Betby we are looking for an individual with experience in the Sports/iGaming industry for a Sports trader role. Sports trader is a person behind the odds that customers bet on. We are looking for people who are passionate about Sport, highly motivated and suitably qualified team players. 

• Prior experience working in the sports betting industry required (Live or Prematch trading)
• Strong mathematical skills and understanding of algorithms
• In-depth understanding of odds correlation between betting markets
• Good all round sports betting knowledge and a strong interest in betting and odds required
• Flexibility is a must as working hours can be set by business needs. Must be able to work flexible schedules including late evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently and in a team setting
• Ability to take immediate action in a fast-moving trading environment
• Good English communication skills – both written and verbal

• Undertaking detailed analysis of Sport and betting market performance
• Trade betting events for different sports. Live and Prematch pricing
• Monitor and manage respective liabilities to ensure risk is mitigated
• Being proactive and come up with ideas and solutions to improve trading performance
• Following trading procedures
• Following and handling all trading related issues
• Effectively responding to client queries and requests, providing the best solution
• Assisting team members of the department in monitoring and reporting on product performance
