What you will be doing:

1. Strategy Development & Leadership
  • Define and lead the overall marketing strategy aligned with Seamfix’s business goals and target market segments.
  • Own Seamfix’s brand positioning and ensure it resonates across regions, products, and audiences.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans, setting clear KPIs, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead marketing planning for product launches, go-to-market strategies, and customer acquisition/retention campaigns.
  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer and executive leadership to shape long-term market expansion strategy.


2. Brand Management
  • Establish a strong, consistent brand identity across all channels (online, offline, internal, and external).
  • Ensure all marketing communication reflects our values, tone, and voice.
  • Lead initiatives that build Seamfix’s thought leadership in identity, data, and digital transformation.
  • Spearhead brand equity measurement and manage brand health trackers.


3. Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
  • Develop and oversee the execution of demand generation programs that drive pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Design and optimize digital marketing funnels (SEO, PPC, paid social, retargeting, email, and referral campaigns).
  • Define mechanisms to attract, convert, and nurture both problem-aware and unaware prospects.
  • Work closely with Sales and Business Development to ensure alignment between leads generated and sales readiness.
  • Drive marketing automation, lead scoring, nurturing workflows, and CRM integration.


4. Product & Customer Marketing
  • Own the articulation of product value propositions, messaging, and positioning in collaboration with Product Management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional product launches, including messaging, content, comms, and sales enablement.
  • Develop case studies, solution briefs, webinars, and industry-specific campaigns that communicate impact.
  • Build and execute customer lifecycle campaigns to increase loyalty, advocacy, and retention.


5. Partnership, Field & Event Marketing
  • Support partner marketing and co-branded campaigns to expand reach.
  • Lead planning and execution of corporate events, product showcases, trade shows, webinars, and conferences.
  • Drive local and regional marketing strategies aligned with in-country teams and partners.


6. Content & Communications
  • Oversee the development of thought leadership, blog posts, whitepapers, videos, and social media campaigns.
  • Manage internal and external PR, media relations, and corporate communications.
  • Support the People & Culture team with employer branding and internal culture campaigns.


7. Team Leadership & Budget Management
  • Build, coach, and lead a high-performance marketing team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Allocate marketing budgets strategically across channels and initiatives to maximize ROI.
  • Partner with external agencies and freelancers to scale resources when needed.
  • Ensure marketing operations are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with industry best practices.


What you will be needing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in B2B tech or SaaS companies, preferably in Africa or emerging markets.
  • Strong understanding of identity, data management, or digital transformation industries is a major advantage


Skills & Competencies

  • Demand Generation & Lead Acquisition – Understanding how to generate high-quality MQLs using inbound and outbound marketing, digital campaigns, SEO, content marketing, and account-based marketing (ABM).
  • Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership – Must be capable of making Seamfix a recognized name in biometric IAM, driving brand credibility through industry reports, analyst relations, and speaking engagements.
  • Conversion Optimization & Marketing Automation – Knowing how to nurture leads using platforms like Zymplify, Callbox, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM, ensuring that every lead moves smoothly through the funnel.
  • B2B Enterprise Marketing & Analyst Relations – Ability to work with Gartner, Forrester, Omdia, and industry influencers to ensure Seamfix’s biometric IAM solution is positioned as a leader in the market.
  • Go-To-Market Execution for a Complex Solution – Ability to position and differentiate Seamfix’s highly technical biometric IAM solutions in multiple markets (Africa, UK, UAE, etc.).
  • Metrics & ROI-Driven Thinking – Must know how to measure Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lead-to-Close Ratio, Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Marketing ROI, and Revenue Attribution.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with strong execution discipline.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and analytics tools.
  • Excellent storytelling, content strategy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Data- and insight-driven decision-maker.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and innovation.
