HEAD OF TRADING

We’re looking for a Head of Trading to lead and scale our Sports Trading function. This role sits at the intersection of sports knowledge, data, technology, and commercial impact. You will own trading performance, pricing strategy, team leadership, and the evolution of our trading infrastructure.

• Own the end-to-end sports trading strategy, ensuring strong margins, competitive odds, and work closely with the Head of Risk Management to ensure controlled risk
• Lead, mentor, and grow the Sports Trading team, building a high-performance, data-driven culture, while owning departmental hiring plans and all key people decisions—including promotions and seniority changes in close partnership with HR and Finance.
• Oversee odds compilation, pricing, and market management across multiple sports and betting markets by setting standards and direction for the trading teams
• Oversee  market movements, betting patterns, and live events by adjusting strategies in real time and solving various escalation cases
• Drive automation and efficiency by leveraging algorithms, trading tools, and technology platforms
• Use data and analytics to improve conversion, margin, turnover, and overall trading performance
• Stay ahead of industry trends, sports developments, and regulatory changes impacting trading
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Risk, Customer Support, Finance and HR teams
• Support new product launches, promotions, and feature rollouts from a trading perspective
• Ensure a fair, transparent, and high-quality betting experience for customers
• Continuously improve processes, tooling, and decision-making frameworks

• Proven experience in sports trading or sportsbook operations, with leadership responsibility
• Strong understanding of sports betting markets, pricing models, and risk management
• Solid mathematical and analytical background; experience working with algorithms and data
• Hands-on experience with trading platforms, automation tools, and market feeds
• Natural leader and decision-maker, calm under pressure and confident in fast-moving environments
• Ability to balance commercial goals with customer experience and integrity
• Strong stakeholder management skills and business mindset
• Fluent English; additional languages (e.g. Russian) are a plus
