Corporate Accountant (Total Annual Compensation Up To 30,000 USD)

As our Accountant, you’ll go beyond routine bookkeeping. You’ll handle USD revenue and VND operations across multiple sales channels and payment gateways, and keep books under VAS while supporting US GAAP reporting. It’s hands-on experience with both standards that few accounting roles in Vietnam can offer.

• Payment Control: Oversee the full payment cycle, from request and approval to execution and booking, and keep supporting records accurate and current.
• Expense Allocation: Allocate costs to the right accounts and cost centers, applying allocation policies consistently each period.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile key balance sheet and operating accounts, investigate variances and clear outstanding items before close.
• Financial Close & Reporting: Prepare and post closing entries under both VAS and US GAAP reporting under guidance, so the books close accurately and on time.
• Audit & Documentation: Keep corporate accounting records complete, well-documented and ready for internal and external audits.
• Process Optimization: Find bottlenecks in accounting workflows and fix them with standardized templates, trackers or automation.

• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA or ACCA (qualified or in progress) is preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in corporate accounting, general accounting or audit, with solid hands-on experience in month-end close and the full accounting cycle. Ideally, you’ve worked in e-commerce, high-growth retail or tech-enabled businesses, and handled multi-entity or multi-currency closing.
• Technical Expertise: Strong command of VAS and core accounting principles, as well as practical exposure to US GAAP or IFRS.
• Systems & Tools: Advanced Excel (lookups, pivot tables, large datasets) and hands-on experience with ERP or accounting systems. Practical automation skills (Power Query, Google Apps Script, macros) are preferrable.
• Strong AI mindset with proven experience in initiating process improvements.
• Accuracy: Sharp eye for detail. You catch discrepancies, mismatched balances and data anomalies early.
• Communication: Professional English, written and verbal.
