• Efficiency-Driven: Possess a natural eye for process optimization - consistently turn clunky, manual routines into cleaner, faster, and repeatable workflows.

• Payment Operations: Track payments end-to-end (from request and approval to execution and recording), maintaining clean and up-to-date supporting schedules.
• Cost Allocation: Accurately allocate spend to designated accounts and cost centers, applying allocation rules consistently across financial cycles.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile assigned balance sheet and operational accounts, investigate variance, and clear open items prior to close.
• Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with VAS (and US GAAP under guidance), delivering quality deliverables on schedule.
• Records & Audit Readiness: Maintain organized, comprehensive transaction documentation to ensure all records are complete, organized, and audit-ready.
• Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks in daily workflows and implement practical enhancements - such as standardized templates or automated trackers.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience Level: 3+ years of hands-on accounting or audit experience, with proven ownership of month-end close processes and the ability to operate independently.
• Technical Foundation: Strong understanding of core accounting principles and VAS; working knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS is a strong advantage.
• Tool Proficiency: Advanced Excel capabilities (advanced lookups, pivot tables, large dataset manipulation) and substantial prior exposure to ERP systems
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous precision; consistently catches discrepancies, balance mismatches, and data anomalies.
• Communication: Professional English proficiency (both written and verbal).
• Nice to have:
• professional credentials: CPA, ACCA (fully qualified or actively pursuing).
• Prior background in e-commerce, high-growth retail, or tech-enabled operations.
• Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-currency month-end close processes.
• Hands-on exposure to productivity and data tools (e.g., Power Query, Google Apps Script, macros, or basic workflow automation).
