Automation QA Engineer

Betby team is looking for a Automation QA Engineer to join our Automation Performance  Team

The Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong Java expertise. You will design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, visual testing and integration testing.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern DevOps practices, cloud-based environments, and highly scalable applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, write, and maintain automated test (API, UI, regression etc.)
• Build and support tests using tools like Selenide, Java, RestAssured, etc
• Automate end-to-end testing scenarios covering core product functionality
• Participate in code reviews of test code, optimize and refactor where needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve release quality and automation coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automation tests for UI, API, and integration testing
• Support existing and maintain new test suites (functional, regression, visual, contract)
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and product quality

Core Skills & Experience

• 2+ years QA automation experience (Java preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Java, TestNG, Selenide, RestAssured
• Hands-on experience with REST Assured, GraphQL, JWT
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred)
• Knowledge of Redis and caching mechanisms
• Good understanding of Page Object Model, data-driven testing, and parallel execution
• Solid communication skills and experience working in Agile teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with Spring Boot (testing or integration)
• Experience with JS
• Sports betting or gaming industry background
• Knowledge of microservices testing, security testing, or performance/load testing (JMeter, Gatling)
• Familiarity with Allure Reporting, WireMock, Checkstyle/PMD
