1/ Business & Functional Ownership
- Own end-to-end production merchandising performance, ensuring the team’s delivery against sales demand, timelines, cost targets, and quality standards.
- Translate business objectives (product launch timelines, cost targets, production quality) into detailed, actionable plans.
- Act as the main escalation point for production risks, delays, capacity issues, and quality concerns.
2/ Production Planning & Execution Leadership
- Lead and oversee the whole production process: Sampling, bulk production, fulfillment plan and inspection.
- Review and validate production plans created by merchandisers to ensure:
+ Feasibility
+ Risk mitigation
+ Alignment with sales demands and product launch calendars
- Coordinate closely with suppliers and factories, and internal sales teams to secure capacity and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Proactively identify and solve issues that could impact delivery, quality, or cost.
3/ System Development (As Business Owner)
- Act as Business Owner (BO) for production-related software/system features.
- Collaborate with the Product and Tech teams to define requirements and validate solutions.
4/ Team Leadership & Growth
- Manage, mentor, and grow the Merchandiser team.
- Drive recruitment efforts and create a development path for team members.
5/ Process, Documentation & Reporting
- Continuously standardize and enhance production processes.
- Ensure accurate tracking of:
+ Production status
+ Inventory
+ Costing / Payment
+ Supplier performance
+ Deliver regular reports to management on:
+ Production KPIs
+ Team performance
+ Risk areas and improvement initiatives
