Sourcing Specialist (China)

Position overview:

We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to identify suppliers/factories in China to uphold our quality and enable timely order execution as we scale. As a Sourcing specialist, you are expected to lead sourcing initiatives to identify top suppliers/factories in China, ensure optimal product quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.

• Hunt and acquire potential suppliers that contribute to company product line.
• Incubate top suppliers.
• Work and align with team to plan product line development in terms of new suppliers growth and development, suppliers incubation plan and implementation
• Develop suppliers' base and their assortment, including supporting supplier to establish e-commerce shops on the company’s system; and verifying supplier’s identity
• Leverage online and offline channels to drive interest of SMEs/ trading companies to sell on the company’s system
• Drive inflow through offline events and partnerships
• Increase presence of Crossian in suppliers communities
• Acquire suppliers selling in different platforms
• Identify suppliers selling in competing platforms
• Contact these suppliers and scrape them shops if they agree to
• Ensure a smooth and easy supplier sign-up through efficient processes and technology
• Identify supplier insight to build up their most wanted platform.
• Gain the supplier’s trust through the knowledge about them.
• Build up the best experience onboarding process.
• Provide for channel to acquire suppliers.

• Experienced in sourcing new vendors in apparels industry.
• Good understanding of business process when working with apparels factories.
• Proven success in securing favorable contracts.
• Proficient in written and communication with both Chinese and English
• Honest, enthusiasm,
• Can do attitude
• Ready for business travel
• Good understanding about supplier’s network
