ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations, focusing on inventory management, logistics, and partnerships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective product delivery while maintaining efficient warehousing solutions and continuously improving shipping and logistics processes.


As a key leader in our operations team, you will drive initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, reduce logistics costs, and manage 3PL relationships to scale our supply chain and support rapid e-commerce growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy focused on improving inventory management, reducing lead times, and optimizing logistics operations.
  • Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to align supply chain strategies with customer demand forecasts and seasonal product requirements.
  • Lead the development of a scalable, cost-effective plan for expanding warehousing and fulfillment capabilities in coordination with 3PL partners to meet growing e-commerce demand.


Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Oversee end-to-end inventory management, ensuring products are stocked in optimal quantities and stored efficiently across multiple warehouses.
  • Work with fulfillment partners to educate and establish best practices for inventory control to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Optimize inventory flow and reduce deadstock through data-driven decision-making and accurate demand forecasting.
  • Implement real-time inventory tracking and reporting systems to improve visibility and decision-making across the supply chain.
  • Lead initiatives to improve storage and warehousing solutions, ensuring warehouse layouts and processes are optimized for both space and speed.


Shipping & Logistics Optimization

  • Work with internal and external partners to assess and select the most cost-effective shipping strategies based on shipping volumes, geography, and customer expectations.
  • Negotiate shipping contracts and rates with fulfillment partners, ensuring the most cost-efficient solutions for different shipping needs for each product categories.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze shipping costs, identify opportunities to reduce costs, and implement new strategies for improving shipping efficiency without compromising customer experience.
  • Analyze performance data from 3PL providers and shipping carriers to identify areas for improvement, ensuring that key performance indicators such as on-time delivery and shipping cost per unit are consistently met.


Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Utilize data analytics to identify inefficiencies and areas of opportunity in inventory management, shipping, and logistics costs.
  • Develop and implement dashboards and reporting systems to track key metrics such as order fulfillment time, inventory turnover rates, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Regularly analyze logistics and warehousing performance data to inform strategies for reducing costs, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment of goals and successful execution of supply chain initiatives.
  • Set clear performance expectations for direct reports, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance reviews to ensure team development and success.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in leading complex initiatives and driving operational excellence.
  • Significant experience in e-commerce operations, with a deep understanding of industry challenges and opportunities.
  • Proven track record of defining program requirements, managing multiple projects, and delivering results in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with SQL at a senior level, including compiling queries, subqueries, data aggregation, grouping, and modification.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team toward operational excellence.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex data, system requirements, and performance results to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Ability to present actionable insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess operational performance, identify trends, and make data-supported recommendations for process improvements. Ability to break down complex issues into manageable components and develop innovative solutions using data-driven approaches.
  • Deep understanding of inventory forecasting, demand planning, and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to track and report progress on initiatives.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities in operations.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent is a plus.
